new French id scooter parts- good or crud?

If you are even 0.0001% interested in scooters, you will know that french ID are one of the leading brands in scooter production today, since the failure in the overpriced 'monobloc' fork, in which nobody bought, had a lot to live up to, have produced a deck with a price to burn a hole in your pocket, and since leading scooter sites such as www.doggscooters.com have not realised a spec for the weight, may make a hole in the half pipe as well. The price of this deck makes the phoenix deck look like it was sold in home bargains, and has the cheesy catchphrase ' the most technologically advanced scooter deck in the world', the review on doggscooters.com doesnt specify how though, and after searching through all of the websites that sell it, i have not found how (even on the french id website!). Is the new deck made by laser- beam welding or something? i mean, i thaught the new deck would be along with the Lucky EVO deck or the Phoenix Pro deck. The only question that's left is that people are actually going to buy this thing :D
